- How much is my gold worth?
- Your gold is worth its weight in pure gold at the current gold price. We test the karat, weigh each piece on a calibrated scale in front of you, and show you exactly how the offer is worked out. Send us photos on WhatsApp for a rough idea before we meet.
- Do you buy broken gold jewellery?
- Yes. Snapped chains, single earrings, bent rings and damaged pieces are all bought at full gold value. Damage does not change the amount of gold in the piece.
- Do you come to my home?
- Yes. Option 1 is a home visit at a time that suits you. Option 2 is a meeting at a local coffee shop or restaurant of your choice if you prefer a public place.
- Is it safe to sell gold at home?
- Everything is tested and weighed in front of you, nothing leaves your sight, and payment reflects in your bank account before you hand anything over. If you would rather not meet at home, we meet in a public place instead.
- How fast do I get paid?
- Immediately. If you accept the offer we pay straight into your bank account and give you proof of payment. The money reflects before you hand over your valuables.
- Do I need any documents to sell?
- Bring your ID for the record of sale. Certificates, receipts or valuations are helpful for diamonds and collectable watches but are not required.
- Do you buy 9ct and 18ct gold?
- Yes — 9ct, 14ct, 18ct, 22ct and 24ct are all bought, priced according to their purity.
- What if my jewellery has no hallmark?
- We test the metal directly with a scanner and acid test, so a missing, worn or foreign hallmark is never a problem.
- Do you buy diamonds without certificates?
- Yes. A certificate helps, but we assess carat, colour, clarity and cut ourselves and make an offer on the spot.
- Is there a minimum amount of gold?
- No. Whether you have one broken chain or an entire collection, we would love to meet — no deal is too big or too small.
- What areas do you cover?
- Every neighbourhood in Durban and the surrounding areas, from the Bluff and Amanzimtoti through the Berea and Westville up to Umhlanga, Ballito and Tongaat.
- How does the referral programme work?
- Refer a friend or family member. If they sell to us, you earn R500 to R2000 depending on the value of the deal.
