How to work out what yours is worth
- 1. Weigh your pieces in grams on a kitchen scale for a rough idea.
- 2. Check the stamp — 375 is 9ct, 585 is 14ct, 750 is 18ct, 916 is 22ct.
- 3. Multiply the weight by the per-gram value for that karat above.
- 4. Remember stones, clasps and non-gold parts are excluded, and stamps are only a guide until the piece is tested.
